Café

The café is located within the west wing of the castle, beside the gallery, and offers the best coffee and cakes made by the castle chef. The Café is open Monday to Sunday 10:30am to 5:30pm, March – October.

Garden Picnic Baskets

Using seasonal ingredients from the Gardens, our chef will freshly prepare your picnic lunch for two. All of our salads are grown to organic principles by the garden team. Freshly picked by Mervyn in the morning and taken straight to Teena in the castle kitchen, our salad is as fresh as it gets. Also included are our famous freshly made cakes, apple juice from the orchard, and savoury bread or scones.

You can also order a selection of delicious whole 9 inch round cakes to collect from the Gallery.

Picnics and cakes are available each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from June to August and must be ordered and pre-paid 48 hours in advance.

Each basket serves 2 people and contains the following:

• Seasonal Salad x2

• Fresh savoury bread or scones x2

• Homemade cake x2

• Homemade flapjack x2

• Large Bottle of Lismore Castle Apple Juice

• Add a bottle of wine, €25 extra (€22.50 for Friends Scheme Members).
