Facilities & access

Car parking is available in the town car park. The access pathway to the garden from 2021 is just opposite the car park.

Wheeled access is available through the garden, however please note as this is a historic site there is some rough terrain and gradients which may not be suitable for all visitors. Please feel free to call us on 058 54061 if you have any queries about access and we will be very glad to help. Some parts of the garden are only accessible via steps, such as the Lower Garden. The main gallery and St Carthage Hall are wheelchair accessible. The Upper Gallery in the Main gallery is not accessible, there are 4 steps to access it.

Bathrooms are available in the Upper Garden, adjacent to the coffee shop and gallery (note it is approx. 5 minutes walk from the entrance).

Wifi access is available at the café.

Dogs are welcome however must be kept on a lead and cleaned up after.

Visitors can bring their own picnics but must take their own waste home with them.
