Join us for a tour of 3 artist's installations in Lismore Castle's stable Yard, with curator Paul McAree.

First exhibited at St Carthage Hall in 2014, and now permanently housed at Lismore Castle, Dorothy Cross' Eye Of Shark sees twelve reclaimed cast-iron baths laid out quietly in the Upper Stable Yard.

In 2021, Lismore Castle Arts commissioned Niamh O'Malley to create a new permanent artwork for the Stable Yard at Lismore Castle. The work formed part of Niamh O'Malley's presentation at the 2022 Venice Biennale.

Antony Gormley's Learning to be I (1992) was for many years installed in the Lower Garden at Lismore Castle. Now beautifully restored, we invite you to see this familiar figure in its new home in the Stable Yard.

This tour is free, but booking is essential here. Please note normal garden admission applies.

Please meet in the gallery reception area at 1:55pm
