Mariela Martin was invited to undertake our 2023 A Space for Lismore project, where we commission an artist to research a project of interest to them within the community of Lismore. Mariela invited local county council workers to share images they take as part of their daily routines, from traffic cones to drains. Mariela has worked on a selection of images for the exhibition.
Mariela Martin is an American artist from Saint Paul, Minnesota, living in Lismore Ireland since 2006. She been working as an artist for 30 years; having held and curated over a dozen exhibitions.
