Veedon Fleece
Lee Mary Manning
Venue: St. Carthage Hall, Lismore
Opening Reception, 5pm, Friday 14 June 2024
Lismore Castle Arts is delighted to present Veedon Fleece, featuring photographic works by Lee Mary Manning showing at St Carthage Hall, Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm – 5pm, from 15 June – 18 August 2024
As part of a month long residency in Lismore in the spring of 2023, Lee Mary Manning explored and documented aspects of daily life, from people and rivers to castles and flowers.
Lee uses 35mm film to create assemblages of photos in one frame, bringing a unique vision alongside a juxtaposition of works. The result is a singular take on time and place, at once familiar and uncanny
Join us for a tour beginning at 5pm at St Carthage Hall to see Veedon Fleece by Lee Mary Manning, with a walk to see Vertices at the Mill, curated by Mark O’Gorman and featuring work by Anne Tallentire and Olga Balema, departing at 6pm
